# Delete a segment

`DELETE /v1/segments/{id}`

Deletes the segment. The people in it are not changed.

## Parameters

| Name | In | Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `id` | path, required | The segment's id (seg_...). |

## Responses

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| 204 | Done |
| 401 | The API key is missing or not valid |
| 404 | Your workspace has no segment with this id |
